Gracie Flores is a Mexican American filmmaker from Los Angeles, CA.
Gracie Flores is a Mexican-American writer, director, and producer from Los Angeles, California. She is the co-founder of Sonder Pictures, a community-driven production company rooted in mutual aid, collective growth, and accessibility in independent filmmaking. Gracie is committed to uplifting the voices of filmmakers of color and is especially drawn to stories that explore queer joy, complex family dynamics, and personal transformation.
Her most recent short film as writer-director, CINEMA, was selected by NewFilmmakers New York and made available for online streaming. A recent graduate of Columbia University, Gracie has interned on productions for Lifetime and Hello Sunshine, and currently serves as a Programs and Events Intern at the National Association for Latino Independent Producers (NALIP).
She is currently producing four short films and a TV pilot, all developed through the Writers’ Incubator program she lead at Sonder Pictures.
